Most people don’t think much about hospitals until they need one. The management and staff of Hibiscus Private Hospital, however, live with the constant responsibilities unique to the healthcare industry.
The hospital, which grew from a simple day clinic, established in 1989, across the street from its present location, completed yet another growth phase in 2003, which saw the addition of a new 12-bed wing. In 2009, we completed our a much larger expansion, taking the hospital up two stories and enlarging all the wards
The theatres at Hibiscus Private Hospital are comprehensively equipped and most types of surgical procedures can be performed.
Providing an outstanding level of health services to the regions individuals, families, institutions and industry is our primary mission. In addition to the sunny Lower KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, one of Southern Africa's preferred resort regions, we serve inland regions of KZN and the Eastern Cape.
The hospital has also geared itself, however, to provide elective care to medical tourism visitors from other regions and countries. This enables visitors to combine an optional medical procedure such as a minimally invasive knee replacement with a recuperative holiday on the beautiful KZN South Coast.
HPH maintains not only a high standard of medical care, but through a specialised professional out-sourcing contract, a hygienic hospital environment and superior patient food service. And all the while we strive to maintain that personal rapport with you.
