12 October 2017 saw Hibiscus Private Hospital hosting another Maternity Open Day

It was with great excitement that many of the moms and dads-to-be attended the maternity open day at Hibiscus Private Hospital last week Thursday.

On arriving at the hospital all moms & dads were treated to a guided tour of the modern maternity ward. On the tour they were also shown the Neo-Natal ICU ward with all the state of the art medical equipment available to ensure their precious little ones always get the best care. HPH’s NICU ward not only offers state of the art medical equipment like cardio monitors, ventilators, photo therapy units, emergency resuscitation equipment and computer enabled X-rays, but also wonderful staff with a passion for babies and mothers.

Sr Firoza Sheik, the Nursing Services Manager at Hibiscus Private Hospital made everyone feel welcome with her opening address, while everyone enjoyed the light refreshments on offer. Dr Perumal (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist) and Natalie Quinn (Dietician), shared their vast experience in very informative presentations and a question and answer session.

One of the happy mom’s, Snethemba Mwandla had this to say, “The pregnancy open day was fun, good and wowing…everyone was so nice and sweet, it was a good afternoon!”

The afternoon was closed off with a lucky draw of a few beautiful hampers for some lucky moms and dads-to-be and a lovely gift bag filled with some goodies and lots of handy information for the parents-to-be.
